The Six Sigma Green Belt course prepares participants for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) CSSGB certification exam. Participants will learn the DMAIC model for process analysis and improvement, team facilitation skills, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Statistics.
Six Sigma Green Belt training is designed for people who will perform or facilitate process analysis and improvement activities, but who will not be involved in the collection or analysis of business process data. It is appropriate for non-management and non-technical personnel from all levels and all areas of the organization.
NOTE: The Body of Knowledge for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) “Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)” exam is covered in this program.
Participants seeking qualification as Six Sigma Green Belts must successfully complete and present the project details from a strategically-linked process improvement project.

- Understand the prerequisites for obtaining the Six Sigma certifications and the role of each level (Yellow, Green and Black Belt) within the organization.
- Plan out a project to reach a solution to reduce waste within their organization, and gain the skills to implement their solution on a continuous basis.
- Gain an understanding of how to transform their organization into a “Lean-Thinking,” Six Sigma culture.
